The ESCRS 2022 Winter Conference has gone fully virtual!

Owing to the overall deteriorating situation in Europe resulting from the Omicron variant, the Executive and Trustees of ESCRS have reluctantly made the decision to convert the winter conference, planned for the 18th, 19th and 20th February 2022 in Vilamoura, into a virtual-only meeting.

The rapidly increasing requirement for testing along with the enhanced likelihood of testing positive (with all the restrictions on travelling and the need for quarantining which that would impose) strongly indicate this is the only viable option. ESCRS considered it would be best for all concerned to make the decision as early as possible rather than disrupting the plans of delegates, speakers and sponsors by delaying until the New Year.

Whilst it is regrettable to have to cancel the face-to-face element of the meeting, please be assured that every effort will be made to produce a virtual meeting with the highest possible standards in terms of content and delivery.

The programme is varied and carefully constructed, with fascinating topics and many excellent speakers, so we very much hope as many of you as possible shall attend!
